Nothing is published that could not be sourced
Dates, appointments, corporate figures and honours are taken from CIEL Group corporate communications, published board biographies, Stock Exchange of Mauritius filings, the Mauritian press, and the statistical publications of the World Bank, the IMF and Statistics Mauritius. Where two sources disagreed, the more conservative figure was used.
Silence rather than estimation
The year of the GOSK award is not stated, because no reliable public source confirming it could be verified. Nothing appears here about family, private life, personal wealth, shareholdings or political affiliation. Media estimates of net worth and stakes exist; they are estimates, not disclosures, and they are not reproduced.
Quotation is separated from analysis
Only three sourced statements attributed to Mr Dalais appear on this site, each carrying its publication and date. Every other interpretive passage is labelled as editorial analysis.
